Anesthesiology and Reanimation

Anesthesia is to prevent the patient to feel pain during a surgery by using various drugs. So, the patient does not feel pain. During the surgery, all the vital functions such as heart beating, rhythm, blood pressure, oxygen rate in blood, bleeding and fluids to be delivered are monitored by anesthetist, and these functions are kept continuing. The method to be used for anesthesia is determined by the anesthetist as per the general situation, physical examination, diseases of the patient, surgery unit, duration and the preference of the patient. Anesthesia application is made in 3 different vays as general anesthesia, regional anesthesia or local anesthesia.

Before surgery, patient is informed by anesthetist about the aspects to be considered before and after anesthesia.
